So it turns out The Secret really works! Last week I wrote a post about wanting to read a particular book. And exactly one week later it arrives at my door, along with a bonus book. I can’t wait to read them!

Thank you so much Lauren! When we are rich you are going to get some super fabulous gifts for having been such a good friend to us while we were dirt poor!
I think my lesson here is to start asking for things that I want and perhaps I’ll get them, also make more friends in the various industries of things we might want. Lauren has us covered with books, we have Amy in photography, now we need someone in shoes, and groceries would be nice too. Oh and it would be really good if we knew someone at a law firm who could help me get a job.
