I don’t know about you but man has it ever been a long, cold, lonely winter for me. I consider myself to be pretty photosensitive. I don’t know if I have S.A.D. or what, but I am always much more melancholy in the winter. I know, I know, I live in SoCal. It’s still sunny most of the time. But there are definitely less sunshine hours in the winter. And I know those hours make a difference for me. I don’t know how people live in those parts of the country where it’s gray all year! Every year I can’t wait for Daylight Savings and Spring to show up so that I can feel like a normal person again! But now, it’s here! Finally! Here comes the sun!
So don’t forget everyone, Daylight Savings Time is this Sunday 2am! Time to spring forward!

gorgeous! where are these pics taken?
When I was growing up, I used to LOVE having daylight until 8p …. but now I’m at work at that time, so it doesn’t really matter.
Today I stopped wearing my winter coat, and got to wear my slightly less winter bright yellow coat. It was a wonderful thing! I can’t wait for flowers and crazy Claritin dreams.
At least you still have the weekends right?! And great later evening photo shoots! No more rushing because you lose the light by 5pm!
The photos were taken in the hills by COC, but I don’t recommend going out there, a little too much real hiking, no paths, not worth it. But don’t worry I’m on the lookout for some great locations like this that are a bit more accessible.
Yay for bright yellow springtime coats!
Seriously those pictures are beautiful. Time for you to get some patio furniture and drink cold coffee in the afternoons and do your law work on your back patio.
