Last Wednesday was the official first day of fall (if you can believe it with today’s record heat)! We spent the previous weekend, the last weekend of the Summer, at Ace Hotel in Palm Springs with the Schuberts and Keith & Shannon. It was a very short trip, but we had a fantastic time.
We dropped Eleanor at my sister’s around 11am and arrived in Palm Springs at about 2pm. A little later than planned, I waited until that morning to pack and shop for drinks and appetizers for that evening’s festivities, and you know, things don’t always move so quickly when you’re trying to get a 2 1/2 year old out of the house.
First thing we took some shots of our room. Such fantastic decor! You all know how important that is to me!
It’s this eclectic mix of funky vintage furniture, with some modern California style, and a few nautical touches (sailcloth bedspread and curtains). Love it! So much fun!
And of course my hotel bathroom mirror shot! If I look a little cranky it’s because it was HOT out!
