Remember, the Maternity Portraits I shot back in January?

Well, the little one has arrived and here she is!

Be warned, you may catch the baby fever if you scroll any further. It’s extremely contagious!

The lucky parents, Kristy & Andrew, informed me that she is a “good” baby as opposed to Eleanor the “bad” baby, meaning this one eats and sleeps and doesn’t cry excessively like a normal baby. Unlike Eleanor who didn’t want to eat or sleep (unless she was in our arms) and was crying if she was awake! I can’t imagine what it would be like to have a “good” baby! I’m completely jealous!

Audrey was very calm and sweet and didn’t get too upset at me for making her pose for pictures.

The next two are my favorite:

Eleanor would love this nursery! We’ll have to bring her by to visit soon. She’ll be thrilled to see her two very favorite things: babies & owls!

Thank you guys for welcoming me into your home to capture these images of the newest member of your family! Remember to let us know if you need anything! We are beyond happy for you! Babies change everything, in the most amazing ways!

We did in fact, “party like it’s [my] birthday,” although we failed to “sip Bacardi like it’s [my] birthday.”
So I turned the big 2-8 on the 5th! I celebrated that evening with a fun dinner with Betsy and Andrew, my two BFFs (you know, I started using BFF sarcastically, but now I just use it like it’s a real word, hmmmm I think the joke is on me) at our favorite restaurant in Silverlake, Cliff’s Edge.

My favorite cheese and fruits platter:

And delicious pumpkin ravioli:

From Betsy’s Camera:

I love these two! Love, love love! My two very favorite people in the world outside of my family!

Thanks for dinner guys! And thanks for driving Andrew! Love you guys!
And the celebrations continued through the weekend. Saturday night Josh and I had a fun date night, dinner and movie, sorry no photos! Sunday morning breakfast with my dad and brother Elliott. Sunday night Josh’s family brought dinner over here. And I still have plans for another birthday dinner with my mom and the rest of my siblings. Birthdays are the best!

Two Sundays ago we went out to Mentryville, a teeny tiny local old timey oil boom town. Thanks to Twitter, the Schuberts joined us! Unfortunately, half of the teeny tiny town was closed to the public that weekend. But we still had a good time rambling around the open portion.

Eleanor was obsessed with Amy that day. Which is funny because she’s generally a guy’s girl, and is usually obsessed with Andrew. But she kept asking Amy to hold her hand as we walked around and made Amy sit down in the mud with her, which was a good thing for me, because I did not want to sit in the mud.

We thought that Eleanor was going to let them take her home. What a nice little vacation that would have been!

But at the last minute she turned around and said, “C’mon Mommy!”
