Megan – Life & Style Portraits

I had the pleasure of capturing portraits of my dear friend Megan last month. As I mentioned in the Sneak Peek a few weeks ago, she’s in a great place in her life and wanted to celebrate with some beautiful portraits.

She’s got a great job, a fabulous new apartment in the 90210 (the dream of every girl coming of age in the 90s!), and is enjoying her life as a gorgeous single lady!

We had to pose with the sign in Beverly Gardens Park.

Megan has the best smile! Seriously, the kind that people talk about lighting up a room. Truly! It’s infectious!

We took a little walk down Rodeo Drive. You know we had to! But then hit a back alley for some great textured backgrounds.

Ok, so the next one! Way, way to beautiful! Stop my heart from beating, take my breath away beautiful! The fact that she’s a lawyer and not a model is incredible!

And besides being obviously gorgeous, she is one of the sweetest, most thoughtful people I know, and by far the most polite, which is a rarity these days, and if all that weren’t enough she’s wicked smart! And did I mention that she’s single! That’s right fellas you better start emailing me for her info immediately! Some amazing guy is going to capture her heart soon and then you’ll all be out of luck!

Hello long legs and high high heels! I’m completely jealous! I spent law school (where we met) trying to work my way up to successively higher heels year by year in an attempt to look as amazing as Megan! I’ll never make it, but I’m still working on it!

The next few are my favorites!

I was so excited when I saw this staircase at the back door of a restaurant with the flower planter hanging on the side of it! Too pretty!

And now for some yummy sunset light!

There’s that amazing smile again! Thank you so much for letting me capture your portraits Megan! You are too beautiful and sweet for words! I hope these photos said enough! XOXOXO!

Mother’s Day 2010

Posted by: Maggie

Josh still isn’t onto the whole, kids are too little to plan Mother’s Day themselves so Daddy has to do it, thing. So there were no real Mother’s Day plans. I did request a pizza dinner the night before though. So that was pretty nice and I did get Josh to go out for a Snickers McFlurry for a Mother’s Day dessert. Super delicious.

The day itself was spent at my usual morning Pilates class, then an early lunch with my Mom and brothers, then home for a nap (all of us napped), then a usual dinner and that was it. Nothing special, except for the card that Josh bought for me and the one Eleanor made me at school.

I tried to get her to hold it for me so I could take a picture. She was not cooperative.

Thanks my loves! Despite the uneventfulness it was a nice Mother’s Day with both of you!
