Fabulous Friday: Eleanor’s Haircut

Posted by: Maggie

You may have noticed that Eleanor’s hair changed between our Spring holidays. Long and wild at Passover and short and sassy by Easter. I’d been putting off her haircut for awhile. I really loved the long hair, but it was getting so hard to brush out. So I finally gave in and took her for a cut.

I kinda love the change!

Hope everyone has a great weekend! We’ll be super busy! I have a portrait shoot on Saturday afternoon to evening. Then Josh and I are going to the Dodger game on Sunday and afterwards I’m having dinner to celebrate my BFF Betsy’s birthday! Rest is for the weak!

Happy Friday!

Easter 2010

Easter was pretty low-key this year. There were a number of events, but all were very relaxed. After breakfast Eleanor got her Easter outfit on and she found her Easter basket. We would have given it to her first thing in the morning, but we wanted her to eat some real food before she discovered the Cadbury Egg in her basket.

Her basket included a new cool light up glitter duckie (she has a few other light up duckies), the aforementioned Cadbury Creme Egg, a new Springtime themed cup, and a very cool stuffed Camel that Josh’s boss brought back from Dubai for her.

Later in the morning we headed to GoGo’s for an Easter brunch.

My mom set up these cute tables for us to eat outside, but it was freezing, so we brought our delicious waffles and country potatoes inside.

After brunch we went home for Eleanor’s nap and once she woke up we headed to my Aunt’s house for an Easter egg hunt and Easter dinner.

That’s my dad pretending that he likes Josh.

Eleanor and her second cousin Lux

Eleanor and I had to find all of my brother’s eggs, since none of them were able to make it.

She was pretty excited about getting to hold all the eggs.

But soon became concerned that she would drop them all.

Eleanor had fun with all the girls (her second cousins). For a while they played a game where they ran in a circle and screamed as loud as they could. Those girls are the best!

After the excitement they all crashed on the couch, sharing a blanket and watching the Princess and the Frog. Aren’t they adorable.

All of them except Eleanor actually sat and watched the movie. She, of course, got up and wandered around every five minutes or so. That girl has too much energy!
