News from the UCLA Medical Center that is circulating campus right now: Michael Jackson has died.

Wow.

It’s Official!

Well, it actually has been for a few weeks now. Sorry for the delayed post.

I was sworn in at Pepperdine, along with the other Pepperdine alumni who passed the February Bar, to the state court by a California State Superior Court Judge and to the Federal court by our own Dean Ken Starr, who used to be a Federal Court Judge. It was a pretty exciting event, as Dean Starr said, it is much more memorable than any graduation ceremony.

I’m so glad I wore my glasses. Don’t I look like so lawyerly?

I think Eleanor was pretty proud of her mama!

Father’s Day 2009

We had a pretty low-key Father’s Day this year. In the morning, Eleanor gave Josh his gift–a couple pairs of socks, one of which was argyle, of course. Josh is known for his argyle socks. He has quite a collection. After Josh had opened his gift, Eleanor demanded that he give her the gift bag so that she could carry it around like a purse. We finished the day with our second annual Father’ Day photo shoot.

Eleanor decided the photo shoot should be over so she grabbed a big handful of mulch from the planter.

And where else would you put mulch but in your hair and mouth?

And here’s what we were up to last year on Josh’s first Father’s Day.
