My big sister, Maria, is due any day now! Her baby boy will be the second Grandbaby in the family. Eleanor is thrilled to get to be a big cousin, and I am way too excited to have a new baby in the family! Seriously, seriously excited. I love babies! Eleanor is just way too big now. I will be making myself available to take care of the baby any time they want to get some rest!
Because Maria & Christian are so popular they had a total of five baby showers! Crazy! I was at two of them. One, thrown by our dad and step-mom, was a more traditional shower with blue booty decorations, cake, and gift opening.
The second was thrown by myself, our mom, and Maria’s friends Ariel, DaBin, and Mary! Thanks ladies! This one was more of an evening cocktail party that Christian could enjoy (he’s not a fan of traditional showers). It was baseball themed and I set up a photo booth for the guests!

A few weeks ago, I had a date to take one year portraits of Audrey for our friends Kristy and Andrew. Because they are amazingly cool, they asked to do the portraits at the Santa Barbara Zoo! And because they are such amazingly nice friends they invited Josh and Eleanor to join us AND made us lunch at their place!
The girls had a little play time together before lunch.
Right now their two year difference is a big deal.
Eleanor just thinks Audrey is an adorable baby and Audrey thinks Eleanor is a hilarious big kid.
But in a few years I know they will be the best of friends.

Remember, the Maternity Portraits I shot back in January?
Well, the little one has arrived and here she is!
Be warned, you may catch the baby fever if you scroll any further. It’s extremely contagious!
The lucky parents, Kristy & Andrew, informed me that she is a “good” baby as opposed to Eleanor the “bad” baby, meaning this one eats and sleeps and doesn’t cry excessively like a normal baby. Unlike Eleanor who didn’t want to eat or sleep (unless she was in our arms) and was crying if she was awake! I can’t imagine what it would be like to have a “good” baby! I’m completely jealous!
Audrey was very calm and sweet and didn’t get too upset at me for making her pose for pictures.
The next two are my favorite:
Eleanor would love this nursery! We’ll have to bring her by to visit soon. She’ll be thrilled to see her two very favorite things: babies & owls!
