My sister Maria graduated from UCLA law school on Friday. So you know what that means. That’s right, a fun summer of studying for and taking the Bar Exam. Let’s all hope she doesn’t follow in my footsteps and have to take it again in February. (p.s. I get my results on Friday! Keep your fingers crossed, because I really, really don’t want to have to take it again!)
It was not as miserable as graduations usually are, but only because the weather was nice. Not too hot, not too cold. Just warm with a little breeze. Maria, however, baked under her robes, as graduates are supposed to do. I thought I was going to pass out at my graduation. The ceremony was of course way too long with too many speeches, with way too many graduates, but that’s how graduations go. I sat and took a few pictures while Josh chased Eleanor around the campus, because she can’t sit still for more than a minute at a time, and really only does sit still when she is eating.
After Eleanor tried on Maria’s cap, we decided that each of my brothers should also give it a try.
Emmett thought he should also try out the robes.
After the graduation we headed over to Frida in Beverly Hills for dinner. Eleanor was all about the guacamole.
